How do I make a purchase?
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through the store, select an item you want to buy and click “ADD TO BASKET”. You can continue to shop and add more items or opt to view your basket using the link at the top of the page. From the basket page you can amend your order, adjust the quantities or remove them altogether before making your payment.
Is there a minimum order value?
We do not have a minimum order value but there is a minimum postage cost of £7.95 applies for orders below £125.
Do I Need To Register To Order Online?
You do not have to register an account to order with us. You can checkout as a guest although we recommend our customers set up an account so that their details will be remembered next time they order.
I Have A Discount Code - How Do I Use It?
To apply a promotional discount or special offer code simply view your basket and enter the code in the field below your list of items. Click the 'UPDATE BASKET' button to apply the code.
Can I pay on account?
We are unable to offer credit to individual customers but will consider setting up a trade account for larger businesses that wish to order for multiple outlets on a regular basis.
Do you sends goods to addresses outside of the UK?
We do not ship to non UK addresses.
Can I send an order through the post with a cheque?
We no longer accept cheques as payment for goods. You accept all major credit and debit cards or you can pay using Paypal.
How do you send out orders?
We currently send UK parcels out with either Royal Mail - First Class, Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery or with our courier, Parcel Force.
How will I know my item has been dispatched?
You will receive an email to let you know your item has been dispatched. All other delivery options require a signature so please provide an address (preferably a business) where there is someone available to sign for the parcel.
When Will I Receive My Order?
We aim to dispatch orders the same or next working day (subject to stock and availability). However, some of the products we sell may take longer to send, particularly if they are sent direct from the manufacturer, require customising or if courier services are disrupted in some way (i.e. due to adverse weather conditions).
The dispatch time for each product is listed on it's main page. For more information on delivery please see our Delivery page. If you need an order urgently please call us to ensure that the item is in stock and available to send straight out.
What if I miss delivery?
If the carrier is unable to deliver and leaves a card it is the recipient's responsibility to contact the delivery company to arrange redelivery or to collect the parcel from the depot.
Can I collect my order from you?
Bar Activity is a mail order business and most of our orders are sent by post or courier. We do not have a shop front for customers to collect items but if you do wish to pick up your order please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
What if I need my order by a particular date?
If you need your order for or by a particular date please let us know using the COMMENT box on the first checkout page. If there are any problems a member of our admin team will contact you either by phone or email.
What if I make a mistake on my order?
If you have made a mistake with your order - selected the wrong address or the wrong quantities please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible and we will make the necessary changes and email you to confirm them.
I haven’t received my order, what do I do?If you haven't received your items in the expected time frame and do not appear to have been left a card please check to make sure the parcel hasn't been left with a neighbour. If it hasn't been left, please contact us and we will investigate the matter for you and provide an update.
Will my order be subject to VAT?
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.
I need a VAT invoice for the goods I have received
A VAT invoice is automatically sent out to the email address you submit when placing your order. If it does not arrive please email email@example.com with your order reference number and date of the order and we will forward you the invoice via email.
Do you have a brochure?
We no longer print a brochure but our website has all the latest prices.
Can I track my parcel?
Yes, you should receive an email when an item has been dispatched and this will have a reference number that you can use to track the progress of your parcel/s. If you are not able to track your order please contact us on 01823 698609 or firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number and we will provide an update on your order's progress.
Is the information I provide private?
We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
