Family Fun Days At Your Pub
Catering for families can be very profitable for pubs and fun days are a great way to attract families during the summer months when kids are on holiday.
A good family fun day will basically consist of games, competitions, entertainment, music, food (BBQ) and if you're lucky some good weather.

No party is complete without music. You can use your own equipment or hire a mobile disco to come along and encourage people to join in the fun and games. A professional DJ will usually help generate a party atmosphere and help run the games.
If you are raising funds for charity then set up some fete sideshow games to help you generate some cash. You will need to provide prizes. Raffles and tombolas are a great way to raise money. See if you can get local businesses or customers to donate prizes.
You could also try contacting your local newspaper to see if they will help publicise your event. In addition, make sure you advertise with posters, chalkboards and large banners to let people know about your event. You could even drop flyers through doors in the local area.
